What T2 means

Code T2 on the three-zone ASKO WCN311942G wine cabinet means a temperature sensor error for zone A. The sensor tells the control how warm or cold the air is around the bottles in that zone, and a pop-up appears on the touch display when the reading cannot be used. Without it, zone A may not hold the temperature you set. If your machine is an ASKO washer or dryer, ignore this page, because the same characters mean something different there.

Common causes of T2

  • The zone A temperature sensor
  • The sensor wiring and connector
  • The control reading the sensor
  • Frost or moisture sitting on the sensor
✓ One safe check you can try

1. Press X or Confirm and the message goes away for now. 2. Check how zone A feels and what the display shows for its temperature. 3. Keep door openings to a minimum, since the control may be guessing at the zone temperature. 4. When the message reappears 3 hours later, give us a call.

! Why to stop there
  • A sensor error does not tell us whether the zone is actually too warm or too cold.
  • We measure the real temperature in zone A and compare it with the sensor.
  • A written price comes before any work, and each repair is backed by a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Opening a panel yourself does not automatically cancel a manufacturer warranty, but it can cause accidental damage, and some manufacturers set their own service conditions. Check your warranty terms, or ask us, before deciding.
T2T2 questions
What if zone A feels fine?

The sensor may still be reporting wrongly even if zone A feels fine. We measure the real temperature and test the sensor so the control can manage zone A properly again.

Is T2 the same as the evaporator sensor code?

No. T2 is the sensor in the zone A air itself. T3 is a separate sensor on the zone A evaporator, which is the cold surface that does the cooling.

Should I move my bottles?

Move the bottles only if zone A feels clearly off from your setting. Otherwise leave them where they are, keep the door closed as much as you can, and book a visit.

Still seeing T2?
