T5VXLG.U
ASKO T5VXLG.U 5-Series Vented Dryer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Vent and duct restricted by lint
- Drum turning without enough heat
- Cycle ending before the load is dry
- Control not selecting one of 17 programs
The ASKO T5VXLG.U is a current 5-series vented dryer with a 24.3 lb drum and 17 programs. It is the vented counterpart to the heat pump T5HXLG.U, and it is listed as ADA compliant when standing on the ASKO pedestal drawer.
Venting is where we begin. Lint collecting in a long duct run slows every cycle. We check the screen, the duct and the outside flap, then the heater and the thermostat. If a program will not start, the control and the door switch are next.
Three near-identical numbers share this family, so the label is what tells us which parts belong in your dryer. A written price comes before the repair. Give us a call, or send the online form, and we will confirm a three-hour arrival window that suits your day.

Vented or heat pump: what separates the two 5-series types?
A vented model sends moist air outside through a duct, while a heat pump model collects it as water. The label on yours tells us which one it is.
My dryer takes longer every month. Why?
Lint building up in the vent is the most likely cause. We clear the duct and test the heat afterward. A vent flap stuck shut or a duct with sagging bends can do the same thing, and we look at both.
Do you repair pedestal-mounted dryers?
Yes. This model is listed as ADA compliant on the ASKO pedestal drawer, and we plan the work around the raised height. We make sure the dryer is stable on its pedestal before we move it.
