The ASKO D5893XXLHS is the stainless steel version of the D5893 XXL, the partner of the designer D5893XXLFI. It is an older model, and many are still working in Houston kitchens.

Is it normal for the door to get warm?
A little warmth can come from the drying step. If a part of the door is hot, we inspect the heating circuit and vent. We use a touch test and the cycle timing to decide whether it is normal.
Why are my dishes dull?
Hard water, too much detergent or a weak rinse can cause dull dishes. We check the rinse step and dispenser, then the water supply. Dull glassware is often a water issue and not a machine failure, and we tell you which it is.
What do you check if the start button is dead?
We test power, the door switch and the panel connections first, then the board, and tell you which part has failed. A dead button with a working display is a different problem from a dead display, and we note which you have.
