Most common issues on this model
- Thumping that follows the drum
- Roughness when the drum is turned by hand
- Black dust below the drum
- Clothes catching at the drum edge
The ASKO T780B is the B version of the discontinued T780. The B is part of its full number, and we read the serial plate to be sure we match parts to the right dryer.
Years of lifting wet laundry wear the parts that hold the drum. If a T780B thumps in time with the drum, feels rough when you turn the drum by hand or leaves black dust underneath, the rollers and their shafts are the usual suspects. We take the cabinet front off, spin the drum, inspect each roller and the drum edge, and replace worn parts together so the repair lasts.
Drum support parts for older dryers can be scarce, so we see what is available and quote in writing before we begin. You can book the visit by calling us or using the online form, with a three-hour arrival window confirmed.

Error codes this model can show
What is the thumping I hear as the drum turns?
Usually worn drum rollers, or a flat spot on the belt. We spin the drum by hand and inspect both before we quote anything, so you know what is being replaced.
Why is there black dust under my dryer?
Rubber or bearing wear from rollers or belts leaves dust. We find the worn part, replace it and check that the drum seats evenly afterward.
How do you tell a T780B from a T780?
The B is part of the complete number, and parts can differ. We read the plate on the machine and match the rollers to that number.
