D5122XXL
ASKO D5122XXL Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Stops mid-program, door locked
- Gritty or filmed dishes
- Water at the front
- Door latch not holding
The ASKO D5122XXL is an XXL dishwasher in the D5122 family. Its larger tub suits big households in Houston, and heavy daily use is usually what brings one into our schedule.
On a tub this size, filmed or gritty loads often start with the filter and the spray arms, since a full load pushes more debris through them. If water shows up at the front, we look at the door gasket and the sump hoses. If the door latch fails, we check the lock and the board output.
As with any older ASKO, we read the model and serial number from the plate before ordering, and we check that the part can be found before the repair is approved. You see the price in writing first, and our work carries a 30-day warranty.

Error codes this model can show
My D5122XXL leaves a film on glasses. Why?
A film often comes from a clogged filter, partly blocked spray arms or low water inlet flow. We clean and test these first and explain what we find.
Why does the program stop with the door locked?
The control may have lost a signal from a sensor, the lock may be sticking, or a pressure switch may be reading wrong. We test the lock and sensors in turn.
Do you have parts for older ASKO machines?
We source parts for many older ASKO models, though a few are scarce. We confirm availability before you approve the work, so there are no surprises.
