What F52 means
On an ASKO Professional DWC6432 commercial dishwasher, F52 is the water level message. These dishwashers are sold in the US for multifamily and light commercial use. The control judges how much water is in the tub from a sensor and a small pressure chamber. F52 appears when that reading is missing or does not match what the machine just did, and the program stops, often with water left in the tub.
Common causes of F52
- A level sensor or pressure switch that reads wrong
- A kinked or plugged hose to the pressure chamber
- Filters or the sump so clogged that the level cannot settle
- A loose connector at the sensor
1. Press any button to dismiss the message. 2. Clean the coarse filter and the fine filter at the tub bottom. 3. Check that the drain hose is not kinked and that the water supply valve is open. 4. Start a program once more. If F52 returns, leave the machine off.
- Whether the sensor itself is wrong or a plugged line is feeding it a bad reading
- Whether the trouble arises while filling, while draining, or both
- Whether the wiring at the sensor is sound

What is the machine telling me with F52?
It cannot trust the water level it measures. Either the sensor is off, or something in the water path keeps the level from settling the way the control expects.
Will a dirty filter alone cause F52?
It can, since a clogged filter slows draining and leaves the sump uneven. Clean both filters first. If the message stays, the sensor path gets tested.
