Most common issues on this model
- Lint slipping past the filter into the cabinet
- Cycles that take longer than they used to
- Load coming out hot but still damp
- Dust or lint smell during a cycle
The ASKO T700 is one of the older ASKO tumble dryers, discontinued and no longer sold new. A lot of machines in this family are still turning in Houston homes, and we repair them. Because the number alone does not tell us everything, we read the serial number plate to see what we are working on.
Our first look is always lint. On an older dryer, the filter, the cabinet and the exhaust path hold years of buildup, and it explains slow drying more often than a failed part. Once the airflow is clean, we test the heat and the thermostat and watch a full cycle.
Finding parts for a machine this old is not always possible, so we check first, and we give you a straight answer if the cost outweighs the value. When you want the dryer looked at, reach us through the online form or by phone.

How can I tell what model my old dryer really is?
The serial number plate on the machine carries the model and serial number. We read it on the visit and match parts to it. With an older number, that plate is more reliable than memory or a manual.
Is lint really the first thing you look at?
On an older dryer it usually is. A clogged filter, cabinet or exhaust path slows drying and strains the heat, so we clear it before testing parts.
What if the parts for the T700 cannot be found?
We tell you before we start. If a repair is not worth the cost, we say so plainly, and you pay nothing for a repair we did not do.
