Most common issues on this model
- Rumbling thump that follows the drum
- Drum feeling rough when turned by hand
- Black dust near the drum supports
- Clothes catching at the drum edge
The ASKO T720 is a discontinued tumble dryer from an older line. Many are still working, and we repair them, starting with the serial number plate so we know exactly what we have.
After years of use, the parts that support the drum wear before almost anything else. When a T720 thumps or rumbles in time with the drum, we turn the drum by hand, feel for roughness and inspect the rollers, the shafts and the seal at the drum edge. Worn supports can also let clothes catch at the edge, which is why that is part of the check.
We say plainly if the cost of a repair is not worth it, and the price is in writing first. Call or use the online form, and we will set up a three-hour arrival window for the visit.

How do you check the drum on an older dryer?
We turn the drum by hand and inspect the rollers, shafts and edge seal for wear. The sound tells us a lot too. Worn rollers feel rough or grind as the drum turns, which is why we do this before opening the heating parts.
Why do clothes catch at the drum edge?
Worn supports or a damaged seal can let clothes slip into the gap. We check both. Fixing the supports usually stops the problem; a torn seal is replaced if the part is available.
Are drum rollers available?
Often, but we confirm availability for this older model before we start. Rollers are usually replaced in sets, and we quote that before the work begins, since some older parts are scarce.
