ASKO W620B Washer Service

Most common issues on this model

  1. Door lock not releasing
  2. Slow drain, program stalling
  3. Leak under the cabinet
  4. Grinding at high spin

The W620B is the B version of the older ASKO W620. We still repair it, and we use the serial plate to confirm it is the B and not the plain W620.

People who own this washer often tell us it has served for many years and only recently began to fail. That is useful to know, because a washer that worked well for years usually has one specific worn part. We find it by testing: pump and filter, door lock, hoses and seals, then bearings.

A new leak is the sign we hear about most from owners of older washers. We trace the water to its source, whether a hose, the door boot or a pump seal, before we quote. Parts for discontinued ASKO washers can take time, so we check first and say plainly if the repair is not worth it.

W620BW620B questions
Why did my washer suddenly start leaking?

A hose, the door boot or a pump seal has probably worn. We trace the water to the exact spot before we quote, so you pay only for the part that failed.

Is the B version different from the W620?

It can be in small ways. We read the label and match parts to the full number printed there, rather than assume the two washers are alike.

How long will the repair take?

That depends on the parts. We tell you before we start and give you the written price at the same time, so there are no surprises.
