W7XLW.U
ASKO W7XLW.U 7-Series Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Program stopping at fill, heat, drain or spin
- Detergent drawer leaving residue
- Door not unlocking after the cycle
- Controls not accepting a program
The W7XLW.U is a current ASKO 7-series washer with a drum rated for 26.5 lb and a top spin of 1400 rpm. Its 29 programs include Pro Wash. The washer is freestanding, and ASKO shows it as ADA compliant when it sits on the ASKO pedestal drawer.
Because a machine with 29 programs can stall at many points, we begin by asking where the program stops. Fill points to the valves and screens, heat to the heater, drain to the pump, spin to the drive. Soap left in the drawer points to water flow, and a door that will not unlock points to the interlock. When Pro Wash is the program that fails, we note the stage it reaches and test that part.
This washer is current, so parts should be easier to find than for the older numbers we service. Each part is still matched to the number on your label, and the written estimate comes before the work. A 30-day workmanship warranty covers the repair.

What is Pro Wash on the W7XLW.U?
ASKO names it as one of the 29 programs. We do not guess how it works; if it stops, we find the stage where it stops and test that part.
Does the pedestal drawer matter for service?
It can. When the washer stands on the pedestal drawer, we check that it sits level and secure, since a rocking washer vibrates more and wears its bearings faster.
What capacity does the W7XLW.U have?
A full drum weighs a lot at 1400 rpm, so we listen for bearing and mount noise first. Capacity itself is not a problem; wear from years of heavy loads is what we look for.
