What F11 means
If your ASKO DBI564IS.U, DBI564TS.U or DBI564PS.U shows F11, the dishwasher could not get rid of its water. The same message appears on DFI and DSD models that use the F-code display. The program halts, and you will often find dirty water standing in the bottom of the tub. Start with the drain hose and the filters, since a clog or a kink is the most common reason.
Common causes of F11
- Food or glass caught in the drain pump
- A drain hose kinked behind the machine or under the sink
- Filters and sump packed with debris
- A drain pump motor that has quit
1. Press any button to clear the message. 2. Look along the drain hose under the sink for a kink. 3. Unblock the drain pump, following the owner's manual. 4. Start a program. If F11 returns, stop using the dishwasher and contact a service center.
- Whether the pump only needs clearing or has worn out
- Whether the sink drain or a garbage disposal is the real blockage
- Whether the control sees the pump running as it should
Other Dishwasher codes
Why does my ASKO dishwasher show F11?
It could not pump the water out. The pump, the hose and the filters are checked first, and many cases end with a clear drain path.
Can I scoop out the water and carry on?
Taking out the standing water helps for now, but the cause stays. With a drain path still restricted the message comes back on the next program.
