What WATER OUTLET FAULT means
Older ASKO W6641 and W6661 washers use the LCD to print a water outlet message when the drum will not empty. The program stops, and water stays inside with your clothes. A blocked pin trap or a kinked drain hose is the usual cause, so those are the first two checks in the owner's manual.
Common causes of WATER OUTLET FAULT
- Pin trap blocked with coins, pins or lint
- Outlet hose kinked or squeezed
- House drain that is slow or clogged
- Drain pump that is weak or blocked
1. Check the pin trap for blockage and clean it, with towels and a shallow pan placed beneath. 2. Make sure the outlet hose is not kinked. 3. Turn the power off or change the program to clear the message. 4. Restart the program. 5. If the message returns, schedule service.
- When the trap and hose are clear, we turn to the pump motor and its wiring, tested with water in the drum
- We check the house drain, because a slow drain can look like a washer problem
- Parts for these older washers are verified before repair, and the price is put in writing beforehand

What does the water outlet message mean on my ASKO washer?
The drum would not empty. The program halts with water still inside until the drain trouble is cleared.
What is the pin trap?
It is the small trap that catches coins, pins and lint before they reach the pump. The owner's manual tells you to check it for blockage when this message appears.
Will you repair a W6641 or W6661 drain problem?
Yes. These older washers are still common here. After we verify parts, you get the price on paper, and the finished work carries our 30-day workmanship warranty.
