ASKO D5122AXXLS Stainless Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Dispenser stays shut
- Cycle takes too long
- Pump runs, sump full
- Blank or dead display
The ASKO D5122AXXLS is the stainless steel version of the XXL D5122A. The inside works like the other finishes, so the repair steps are the same, but the exterior needs different care during removal and reinstallation.
Stainless doors scratch and dent easily, so we cover the door and counter edge when we slide the machine out. On the inside we start with the dispenser release, the drain pump and the heating circuit, then move to the board if those test good.
This is an older model, and some parts are hard to find. We confirm the model and serial from the plate and check part availability before you approve a repair, so you are never left with a half-finished job. Your written price comes first.

Does the stainless finish change the repair?
Not the inside of the machine. We take extra care with the stainless door and counter edge so the finish is not scratched while we work.
Why does the dispenser not open?
The dispenser relies on a small latch and release that can wear or stick. We test it through a cycle and either clean, adjust or replace it, with a written price first.
Is it worth fixing an older stainless ASKO?
Often yes, since the build is solid. We look at the problem, the price and part availability, then tell you honestly whether to repair it or put the money toward a new machine.
