W6124X.W.U
ASKO W6124X.W.U Style Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Pro Wash program stopping early
- Door not opening at the end
- Drain pump slow to clear water
- Spin noise from the drum
The W6124X.W.U is an ASKO Style series washer with a 26.5 lb capacity, a 1400 rpm top spin and 25 programs. It includes Pro Wash and installs freestanding. ASKO has discontinued it, but it remains in many homes.
Pro Wash is a named program on this machine, so when a customer says that program stops early we ask which stage it reaches. A stall at fill points to the inlet. A stall at heat points to the heater. A stall at drain points to the pump, and a stall at spin points to the drive. We do not guess how Pro Wash works; we test where it stops.
We confirm the full number from the label, check parts for this discontinued model and give a written price first. Our work carries a 30-day workmanship warranty.

What is Pro Wash on the W6124X.W.U?
It is one of the machine's 25 programs, as named by ASKO. If it stops early, we find the stage and test the part that works at that stage.
The door stays shut after the wash. Why?
The interlock may be holding, or water may still be in the drum. We check both and open the door safely before we test anything further.
What capacity does the W6124X.W.U have?
It holds up to 26.5 lb with a top spin of 1400 rpm. That makes it a large-capacity machine, so we check balance and mounts when it shakes.
