D5253XXLFI
ASKO D5253XXLFI Designer XXL Dishwasher Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Controls unresponsive or display blank
- Dishes wet after drying
- Water left in the tub
- Stops mid-program, door locked
The ASKO D5253XXLFI is a designer XXL dishwasher, one of the machines in the D5253 family that were made to blend into a kitchen. It is an older model now.
Control problems are common on older machines with a lot of electronics, so a blank display or unresponsive buttons start with power at the board and the door switch. Damp dishes at the end lead us to the drying phase and seal. Standing water leads us to the drain pump and hoses. A stopped program with a locked door leads us to the lock.
We take care with the front panel and cabinet when the machine is moved. We confirm the model and serial from the plate and check part availability before you approve a repair, and we put the price in writing first.

Error codes this model can show
Why are older control boards a concern?
Boards on machines this age can wear out. We test power and the switch first, and tell you if the board itself is the problem.
Are replacement boards available?
Sometimes, depending on your serial number and the part. We check availability before you approve the repair, and we tell you plainly if a board for your machine cannot be found.
Do you repair the designer panel?
We service the machine behind it and handle the panel with care. If it is damaged, we tell you what we can find for your model.
