D5954
ASKO D5954 Dishwasher Repair for Outdoor Kitchens
Most common issues on this model
- Door lock not engaging
- Cycle stalls early
- Water left in the sump
- Odor from the tub
The ASKO D5954 sits in the same outdoor dishwasher group as the D5934, and like it, it is an older model that is no longer sold new. We do not assume anything about how yours was installed, so we ask: indoors, under a covered patio, or in an outdoor kitchen?
That answer shapes the visit. Outdoors, we pay extra attention to the drain line, because standing water in a hose can sour, and to the lock and door seal, which face more temperature swings. A cycle that stalls early gets a display reading and a test of the sensor involved, and a tub that smells gets its filter and sump cleaned and inspected.
The plate gives us the model and serial. Part supply is checked before you decide, the price is put on paper, and a 30-day warranty covers the work.

What is different about the D5954 and the D5934?
They share the outdoor group and the same era, but their numbers differ, so parts may not be the same. We always order against the plate.
Why does my outdoor dishwasher smell?
Water can sit in the sump or the drain hose and sour. We clean the filter and sump, check the drain slope and tell you if a part needs replacing.
Does the door seal matter more outdoors?
It can, since heat and cold swings age rubber faster. We check the seal for hardening, cracks and leaks, and quote a replacement if it needs one.
