On most ASKO front-load washers, the label is on the inside edge of the door opening, or on the door frame, visible with the door open. Photograph it before you call, and you save time at the visit.
Where to Look
- Open the door fully and check the rim of the opening.
- If it is not there, look along the edge of the detergent drawer area.
- Check the back panel for a second label, if the machine can be pulled forward safely.
What to Note
- The entire model number.
- Its serial number.
- Any text printed beside the voltage rating.
- Whether the machine is part of a stacked pair with a dryer.
What to Tell Us Besides the Label
Describe when the problem appears: at fill, wash, drain or spin. Say whether the display shows a message, and write it down word for word. We do not guess what a message means from a sentence like “it shows a code,” but an exact message helps us start testing in the right place.
Older Models
Older washers may have label wording that has faded. Take several photos from different angles. Where a part is scarce, we tell you up front and give you an honest view of whether the repair makes sense.
More on our washer repair page.
Keep the photo in your phone with a note of the date you bought the washer or moved in, if you know it. Age matters to us when we plan which parts to bring. It also helps us give you an honest answer about whether the machine is worth repairing.
Once the label is photographed, call us or use the online form and we will take it from there.
