W6661SS
ASKO W6661SS Stainless Washer Repair
Most common issues on this model
- Program stalling with water in the drum
- Door that will not unlock
- Leak at the door boot
- Noise in the spin
The W6661SS is the stainless steel finish of the ASKO W6661. The white version is the W6661W, and the machine behind the panel is the same. It is an older washer that is no longer sold.
When this stainless version needs service, we look at the same things as on the white version: the drain pump and filter, the door lock, the door boot and the bearings. The finish does not change what we test, only which panel parts we may need.
We read the number from the label, confirm part availability, give you a written price first and warrant our work for 30 days. If a repair is not worth it, we say so. Because the panel finish is the only difference between this washer and the white one, we check which panel parts, if any, your repair would need.

What does SS stand for?
It stands for stainless steel, which is the finish of this version of the W6661. The white version of the same washer is the W6661W.
Is the W6661SS the same machine as the W6661W?
Yes, the machine behind the panel is shared. Only the finish differs, but we still match parts to the full number on the label of your washer.
Can panel parts be a problem?
Finish-specific parts can be harder to find on an older model. We check availability before we repair, and we tell you what we find so you can decide.
